The EHD (Even Heat Distribution) Technology `provides optimal heat distribution for long-lasting, more effective, professional results. Do not use it for any other purpose. If you use the appliance on colour-treated hair, the straightening plates may stain. The maximum temperature occurs just after heating up. As with all straighteners that reach salon-high temperatures, do not use the appliance frequently to avoid damage to the hair. If you use the straightener incorrectly, you could overheat your hair or even burn it. Always make sure you select a temperature that is suitable for your hair type. 1 Put the plug in the wall socket. Press the on/off button. Slide the closing lock down to unlock the appliance if it is locked. EnglisH , The default temperature setting of 10 appears on the display. Take extra care with pale, blonde, bleached or colour-treated hair, since it is susceptible to damage at high temperatures. To set the temperature, press the + button to increase the temperature setting or press the - button to decrease the temperature setting (Fig. ). , The display shows the selected temperature setting. , When the appliance has heated up to the selected setting, the word `READY' appears on the display. , The bars on the display show the remaining usage time of the appliance. The total usage time is 60 minutes. Every ten minutes one of the six bars disappears.
